Chess Players of Carrickfergus and Beyond!
The Ulster Chess Union is delighted to have been contacted to share the details of a new club coming in Carrickfergus.
Carrickfergus Community Chess Club is a brand-new social space for players of all ages (8+) and skill levels. We are currently focused on building a friendly local community for casual play. We are a "bring your own board" club for now as we get off the ground, with a view to UCU affiliation once we are settled and up and running.
We will meet every Tuesday evening at the Open Door Centre, 32 Bridewell Drive, Carrickfergus. Our IGM is on Tuesday, February 3rd, with the first night of play on Tuesday, February 17th.
