Omagh Rapidplay 2023 – Tournament Results

As the 7th FIDE event in the NI Rapid Grand Prix, the Omagh Rapidplay attracted 42 players, including 8 from the Republic of Ireland. There’s now been 176 players in the 2023/2024 grand prix, with the final 3 events scheduled for Feb-March 2024.
Established in 2014, the annual Omagh competition has been a major highlight in our local chess calendar. Our thanks to Anthony White for once again securing the use of the Christian Brothers Grammar School and for the hot drinks and biscuits to make everyone feel welcome. We hope to see everyone back again next year!
