One of the most pretigious tournaments of the Calender for fast chess. The 2026 UK Open Blitz Championships: Belfast qualifier. Will take place on 12th Sept Sat.

An opportunity to qualify for the UK Blitz Championships. Belfast is holding one of the 16 qualifying tournaments across the UK.

WIth the start of the Chess season on us. The annual Belfast Qualifier for the UK Open Blitz Championships will happen on Saturday 12th Sept 2026.

Schedule: Registration from 10.30am, games start from 11.00am sharp. Note this differs from the default time listed on the ECF website.
Default Time: None; a player has until their time expires to arrive
