An opportunity to qualify for the UK Open Blitz Championships 2023. Belfast is holding one of the 8 qualifying tournaments across the UK.
An opportunity to qualify for the top UK Last year the qualifiers were Louison Fuchs, Mandar Tahmankar and Koichi B Nicholas all of whom played at the Finals against top UK Chess players.

Format and rating
All qualifier events will be fifteen round Swiss tournaments. The time limit for all events will be all moves in 3 minutes plus 2 seconds per move. Default round times will as follows subject to variation by regional organisers —
