History of the Alex Beckett Trophy

The Alex Beckett Trophy is currently presented to the winner of the Ulster Masters, which was first played in 2011. However the history of the Trophy dates back to 2000.

Ulster Matchplay Championship

This competition was only held on two occasions before being discontinued.

2000 - Stephen SCANNELL

2002 - Stephen SCANNELL

Ulster Open

The Trophy was presented on a third occasion in a one-off revival of the Ulster Open.

2005 - Tom CLARKE

Ulster Masters

The Ulster Masters is held in the Autumn and since its inaugural year in 2011, the winner is awarded the Alex Beckett trophy.
