Final NICS Intense Rapidplay
The Alan Burns Grand Prix concludes on 5st July. Now in its second year, the NICS Rapidplays offer the chance for an excellent Sunday lunch followed by an afternoon of entertaining chess. This final event is an Intense tourney with as many games as we can manage in an afternoon.
Each of the Rapidplays contribute to the Alan Burns Grand Prix
The first Lackadaisical kicked-off this seasons series in mid-December and the series will conclude with an Intense tourney on a 15 minute time-control - at least 8 rounds in the afternoon.
As usual, a prize fund will be offered at each event with a portion of entrance fees being held back and offered as prizes for the Grand Prix event - which will also be awarded at the end of this tournament.
