Civil Service Chess Club once again hosts the Williamson Shield on the final weekend in January.

QUB Rapid 2009 (QUB Students' Union, from 2009-02-07 10:40 to 2009-02-07 17:10) — by Chris Millar

The QUB Rapid returns on Saturday February 7th 2009 with an improved format. In 2009 there will now be a £750/€1,000 prize fund, two sections, a later start time (to facilitate those travelling) and entry will be FREE to all female players. There will also be trophies for the winners of each section.
