THERE WILL BE A DEDUCTION OF £2 ON THE ENTRY FEE IF A PLAYER ENTERS BY THURSDAY 18 JANUARY 2006

IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, PRIZES WILL BE SHARED

• 3 rounds on Saturday starting at 10.00am, 2.00pm & 6.00pm
• 3 rounds on Sunday starting at 10.00am, 2.00pm & 6.00pm 
• The controller’s decision in any dispute will be final.
•  The tournament will be rated by the Ulster Chess Union.
• An accelerated draw will be used in the early rounds, which should avoid any grading mismatches. 
• Players may request a half-point bye if they wish to miss one of the first five rounds. The request for the half-point bye should normally be made before the start of the first round.
