World Junior Chess
Up one levelFIDE and other organisations foster junior chess through a number of National and Internation competition. Ulster supports individual players and regularly fields Ulster teams in as many competitions as possible.
Irish Schools Inter-provincials
Despite improved performances from Ulster's U19 and U16 players, Ulster teams finished as runners-up to Munster and Leinster.
Interprovincial Tournament 2005
Ulster Schools hosted the All Ireland Under 19 and Under 16 Interprovincial Tournament on the weekend of 4/5 March 2005. The team competition was held at Methodist College, Belfast with visiting teams from Leinster and Munster.
