Blitz is back in the Students Union on Monday June 8th! QUB Chess is taking over Bar Sub from 7.15pm for 5 rounds of good old fashioned, straight shootout style blitz. There's no other chess event quite like it...

TIME: From 7.15pm
FORMAT : 5 rounds with a time control of 10mins per player
PRIZE FUND: £100
PRIZES : 1st Place, 2nd Place, Best under 1800, "David v. Goliath", Best newcomer, Best female player
ENTRY FEE: Standard £5, Women FREE, Spectators £2
Players can enter in advance or just turn up on the night
