On the evening of Monday 28th July, QUB Chess will host a blitz competition in Bar Sub of the Students' Union basement. There's none of your fancy "time/piece handicaps" - it's just an old-styled blitz shoot out with plenty student-priced liquor available from the bar. The competition is open to all players.

Karl McPhillips, Leinster Champion, will deliver a simultaneous exhibition in the top floor of the QUB Students' Union on Saturday April 21st at 2pm. All-comers are welcome to enter and try their hand against one of the most talented players in Irish chess. It is free to play.
