Clubs in and around Belfast

bombardier Bombardier Based around a nucleus of current Bombardier employees, the club plays out of Shorts (Bombardier) Social Club on the Holywood Road
nics NICS The collective representation of Civil Servants. Based in the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion on the Newtownards Road, Belfast. Club night Wednesday
ciyms CIYMS A long established club associated with the CIYMS sports club and based in the club house off the Holywood Road. Currently struggling for members due to high fees - contact local officers for meeting details.
clifton-house Clifton House More a collection of friends rather than a formal club. The team plays out of Clifton House - the old 18th century Belfast workhouse.
fisherwick Fisherwick A long established club based in the assembly rooms of Fishwerick Church, Chlorine Gardens (off the Malone Road). Club night is Wednesday.
north-belfast North Belfast Based in St. Malachy's Old Boys club house on the Antrim Road, Belfast. Also compete as Fortwilliam. Club nights - Wednesday and Thursday.
qub QUB One of the many student societies competing for student interest. Currently growing in numbers. Contact the Students Union for meeting dates and venue.
rvh RVH A recently established club based in the social club of the Royal Victoria Hospital; club house is in the grounds of the hospital; club nights on Wednesday.

Clubs outside the Greater Belfast area

bangor Bangor One of the larger clubs in the province currently meeting in the parish church halls in Groomsport. Club nights are Thursday.
derry City of Derry Somewhat isolated from the rest of the Ulster clubs but a strong nucleus despite this. The club meets in the Guildhall on Tuesdays'
derriaghy Derriaghy Hillsborough have seen a resurgence in numbers after their move to Derriaghy Cricket Club. Club nights are Tuesday.
randalstown Randalstown A strong club drawing members from both Antrim and Derry counties. The club meets on Mondays in the Scout Hall near the town centre.
Portadown Portadown Chess Club Armagh / Portadown have settled this year in Portadown Townhall, Edward Street
